  • Understanding Opioid Addiction Treatment At Our Clinic

At Buprenorphine Treatment Centers, Inc., we take a holistic approach to addiction treatment.

Here, our friendly, certified healthcare providers monitor patients through a medication-assisted treatment program (MAT). Patients on this treatment path either take Suboxone or Subutex to manage their cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

In our outpatient setting, patients are encouraged to take their medication as prescribed. Unlike in-patient addiction treatment centers, this setup allows people to take care of their physical and mental health, while also resuming their daily life and activities within the comfort of their own home.

Likewise, patients who decide to take buprenorphine medication at our clinics are also offered free access to group therapy sessions. Our behavioral health center and on-site psychiatrists are qualified to help patients reflect on, understand, and overcome feelings of guilt, regret, depression, stress, or anxiety that may be causing their opioid use disorder.

If interested, we have clinics available in Gainesville, Orange Park, Perry, Palatka, and Ocala. Call Buprenorphine Treatment Centers, Inc. today to ask about medication-assisted treatment or our psychiatric services.

Buprenorphine Prescription Treatment

Our addiction treatment center is proud to provide buprenorphine medications such as Suboxone and Subutex. Suboxone consists of both buprenorphine, a partial opioid agonist, and naloxone, an opioid receptor antagonist. These substances work in tandem to bind to opioid receptors and limit a patient’s physical reliance on opiates. Subutex, on the other hand, only contains buprenorphine, but functions much in the same way as Suboxone.

While enrolled in our monitored buprenorphine treatment program, we do require patients to participate in urine drug screenings. These drug screens are not meant to be intrusive or invasive. Rather, they are put in place to preserve the safety of our patients during their recovery. Our drug tests allow us to ensure that patients are taking the appropriate Subutex or Suboxone dosage and are not combining controlled substances while on their medication. Combining benzodiazepines, alcohol, opioids, antidepressants, or other drugs while on Suboxone or Subutex can potentially trigger an overdose, which can be fatal.

Mental Health And Counseling Services

Our mental health providers offer psychological evaluations for behavioral disorders, individual therapy sessions, family counseling, couples counseling, medication management, and other telehealth options.

At our recovery clinics, we understand that everyone’s story and reason for opioid use is different. Because of this, we tailor our treatment sessions toward each patient’s individual needs.

By starting off counseling with a solid diagnosis, we can help create a unique psychiatric therapy plan, made specially for you. Throughout their mental health treatment, patients can expect to learn healthy coping mechanisms, stress management practices, and therapeutic techniques. All of these skills can be used by our patients to overcome troubling or limiting thoughts and emotions.
